6’3″ Channel Islands By Al Merrick “GiRabbit” Used Step-Up Surfboard

CONDITION: This board is in GREAT condition! The deck has mostly light and a few scattered medium pressures – most of which are under the front foot. The belly is really clean with a small handful of scattered light pressures and a couple very light streaks. There have been a few professional repairs done: The front right fin box was fully repaired with fiberglass cloth, and a few very small dings (less than dime size) were re-sealed to ensure watertightness. Those small repairs can be found (i) on tail tip, just right of the stringer, (ii) on the belly left of the stringer and inline with the CI logo, and (iii) just below mid-board right of the stringer. All repairs were done professionally and are flush, smooth, and 100% watertight.

Jordy looks to his Girabbit design when the waves have some push. Best used as all-around shortboard for above average surf. Single concave throughout means the Girabbit works best when on rail. A fairly aggressive tail curve allows for tight radius turns. Ride this board your same height to 3″ longer than you are tall. Jordy is 6’3″ 190 and rides his Girabbit 6’3″ x 19 1/4 x 2 5/8 @ 33.1L
